Open Auditions for The Game's AFoot

Welcome! If you are here we can safely assume that you are at least considering auditioning for the first show of our season. THAT'S GREAT NEWS!

This is the audition page for The Game's AFoot. We need to cast eight people for this show so we're very excited that you have chosen to check us out. As you may already be aware, this is a play that follows a group of actors who have been invited by William Gillette to his castle in Connecticut. When one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous.

On this page you will find a link to the online audition registration as well as an audition form and character descriptions. You will need all of these tools to prepare for your audition.

We strongly encourage all participants to register before August 13th as it helps us run a more efficient audition.

Auditions will be held at The Masquers Coach House 616 North 8th Street, Manitowoc, on Thursday, August 14th, and Friday, August 15th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. If callbacks are required a member of the production team will contact you with further dates and times.

Online registration is provided on this web page along with audition forms and character descriptions. All participants should come to the auditions with a completed audition form, a headshot, resume of theatrical experience, and a list of rehearsal scheduling conflicts. Scene cuttings will be provided at the audition. Please arrive early, be ready to start on time, and plan to stay for the entire audition session.

Rehearsals will begin the first week of September and will run through the performance dates. The Game’s Afoot will be performed November 6 - 8, 2025, at the Capitol Civic Centre in Manitowoc, WI. If you have any questions, please contact at info@themasquers.org
