Ken Ludwig is the author of two of our previous productions - Lend Me A Tenor (1997) and Moon Over Buffalo (2008).
The Fox on the Fairway is Ludwig's homage to the great English farces of the 1930's and 1940's. You will be taken on a hilarious romp which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brother's classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life and man's eternal love affair with ... golf.
The Fox on the Fairway enjoyed a success full run, playing to appreciative audiences all three nights. Considering the exceptionally cold winter we had, it was a great way to laugh away the mid-winter blues.

The Masquers, Inc. recently announced the director for the second show of their 83rd Season. Bradley Tavares, a long-time member of The Masquers, has been chosen to direct The Fox on the Fairway, which is scheduled to open on February 27th and run through March 1st, 2014, at the Capitol Civic Centre.
Bradley previously directed Noises Off, the first show of our 80th Season in 2010. An accomplished singer, dancer and actor, Bradley is a real "triple threat" in the theater. His most recent casting was as Mark in A Chorus Line earlier this season, where he was able to showcase his remarkable talents.
We want to wish Bradley the greatest success in this current venture and encourage everyone to see this hilarious show.
