Season Selection

Selecting the shows for each season begins well over a year before the curtain rises on the first performance.

The Play Reading and Casting Committee is responsible for assembling a reading list and narrowing it down to six shows by the January Board of Directors Meeting. The Board reduces the list to three shows and recommends them to the membership in February. It is at that meeting that the membership chooses the shows for the following season either from the recommended list or from the original list of six shows.

During this process the Play Reading and Casting Committee accepts suggested titles from the members and adds them to their original list.

This process has served us well for many years and is responsible for the fantastic seasons we've had throughout our history.
