It's 1942, and two of Hollywood's biggest divas have descended upon the luxurious Palm Beach Royale Hotel -- assistants, luggage, and legendary feud with one another in tow. Everything seems to be in order for their wartime performance...that is, until they are somehow assigned to the same suite. Mistaken identities, overblown egos, double entendres, and a lap dog named Mr. Boodles round out this hilarious riot of a love note to the classic farces of the 30s and 40s.
Once more The Masquers has shown that they are particularly adept at presenting comic farces. The cast, crew and even the set received resounding applause. Congratulations to all involved.

At the October meeting of The Masquers Board of Directors Claran LaViolette was appointed Director of SUITE SURRENDER, the second show of our 85th season. This is Claran's first time in the Director's chair, but she is more than familiar with Masquers productions. She has been the Costume Master for nearly every show produced by The Masquers for as long as most of us can remember.
Claran has also just finished the first show of our season where she created the memorable character of 'Dolly' in BIRCH HOLLOW.
Good luck Claran, we know you will wow the crowd.
